First off, I'm Stephanie, and I am a student at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
I am studying to become a doctor. During my time in Peru, I've seen a lot of different medical
circumstances ranging from typhoid fever to malaria. I see a common
disorder as well here in the states: complacency. The team here at Spirit-Led is all about
stepping out of the box and into a huge world that is in need of a cure: Jesus Christ. There is
more out there, and God can change the world and while doing so, can shape you into who he
wants you to become.
My focus on the Spirit-Led team is missions and discipleship. It is my heart and calling, and
medical missions will also be a facet of Spirit-Led in the near future as tool to open the hearts
of people. People coming to know the saving grace and person of Jesus Christ is the reason
and real motivation behind anything we do, no matter how different. After all, anyone who
ever made a difference had to do something different.
Everyone, I think, wants to go on a grand adventure, and God wants no less. He knows and
has a plan for each of our own adventures. Stepping out your door, though, is dangerous
business, but if you take that step, there's no telling where you might be swept off to.
